SM Entertainment announces joint venture with Indonesia’s CT Group

Super Junior to collaborate with Indonesian singer Rossa

SM Entertainment have announced a joint venture with TransMedia, a media company that sits under CT Corp.

CT Corp is a leading organisation in Indonesia with a focus on media, finance and retail. Through this joint venture they will focus on entertainment, content production, advertising, lifestyle business and digital business.

It will also provide an avenue to promote the entry of SM Entertainment artists into Indonesia, including the development of local Indonesian pop acts, through the recruitment of local artists.

At the time of the announcement, it was also revealed that Rossa, a well-established and respected Indonesian singer was the first artist to join the joint venture. It was also revealed that she will be collaborating with Super Junior for a release scheduled for the second half of this year.
