The MONSTA X & Steve Aoki‘s English version collaboration of ‘Play It Cool’ has been released.

The song which was a track on the group’s recently released album ‘Take.2 – We Are Here‘ is their first collaboration with the American producer and DJ.

In a recent interview, Steve Aoki spoke about the collaboration. He said, “Recording the track was incredible because I got to work with such talented artists. Their voices and melodies and vocal performance on the track is amazing.”

He continued, “I got to work with professionals who really know how to sing the song the way it’s supposed to be sung. I really wanted this song to touch people’s hearts and minds. It’s important that the performance really dives into someone’s soul. And MONSTA X knew how to do that.”

Of the song itself, he commented that “Play It Cool” is the perfect song to showcase the vocals of the MONSTA X members as it brings together the world of K-pop and EDM to create a new sound that will captivate anyone who listens to it.

The MONSTA X members responded, “After the great success of the Korean version, we can’t wait to see the responses to the English version from all over the world. This collab is a gift from us to our ‘monbebe’ , for always taking care of us and keeping it cool. Thank you.”
