K-WAVE Auckland is almost here and we can’t wait

We can’t believe how fast 2023 has flown – K-WAVE Auckland 2023 is already upon us and we’re so excited to see the amazing acts that are part of the line-up performing live!

In case you need a reminder, or just need a reference point, below we’ve listed all the details that you’ll need to know about the event.

K-WAVE Auckland will be held at The Trusts Arena in Auckland on November 10, 2023.

The inaugural event has a stellar line-up of some of Korea’s biggest K-pop stars including KARD, Lee Hi, 10CM, Odd Eye Circle, and Jey, not to mention a group that had one of the hottest debuts of the year Young Posse. All of that will be mixed in with some amazing local New Zealand talent including Prins and Ineffa Lucas. They’ll be joined by some of the most popular local K-pop dance crews; ELIT-IS, Konstellation and Choi’s Dance.

In a recent interview Gio Jin of Prime Entertainment, the organisers of K-WAVE Auckland 2023 said; “From the huge audiences at K-Pop events held in Auckland earlier this year, we’ve learned there is high demand in New Zealand to see top international K-pop artists coming here.”

It is expected that there will be more than 3,000 attendees at the event this week.

Gio continued; “From the very beginning of planning this event, our top priority has been to create high-quality performances similar to those seen in Korea, or even with a greater impact. We want to make it annual event so that we can gather all the K-pop fans and the newcomers for K-pop and they can experience and enjoy the culture together.”
