JYP reveals more information on his upcoming plans for the Japanese girl group!

As many knows, JYP will be launching a Japanese girl group in collaboration with Sony Music.

So, at the recent conference, it is revealed that the project is called ‘Nizi Project‘ which can be referred to as Rainbow Project. The purpose of this project is to discover foreign talents which helps the development and the production of artists in foreign countries.

The project is set to begin in mid-July where the auditions will be help in 10 places: Sapporo, Sendai, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Okinawa, LA and Hawaii. The applications will start in May, bringing in female applicants of 15 to 22 years old and can speak fluent Japanese.

After the contestants are chosen, they will all be brought to Tokyo where twenty of them will be chosen to debut in November 2020. There will also be a program showing their training progress in April 2020! The ultimate goal is to create a group that not only promotes in Japan but also around the world.
