Girl’s Day’s Sojin joins a new agency!

Yes, that is right! It looks like Sojin has joined a new agency!

In particular, on March 19th, noon company revealed that “we’re happy to work with Sojin who has shown her diverse charms through many media including variety show, acting and music. Thus, to make use of her endless potential, we won’t hold back in supporting her in any way we can.” This indicates that they have signed an exclusive contract with her.

안녕하세요 소진입니다. 앞으로 새로운 회사와 일하게 되었다는 소식에 우리 데이지들이 놀라고 걱정될까 이렇게 글을 써요. 2010년 걸스데이라는 이름으로, 우리 율밍혤🌼 세상에서 가장 소중한 선물 같은 동생들을 만나 함께 한지도 벌써 9년이 흘렀네요, 먼저, 9년이라는 소중한 시간 동안 걸스데이 소진으로 부족하지만 언제나 사랑으로 응원해준 데이지 그리고 모든 분들께🌼 진심으로 고맙다 말하고 싶습니다. 걸스데이가 시작된 순간부터 지금, 오늘까지도, 항상 저와 멤버들은 서로 많은 이야기를 나누고 아껴주고 있어요, 새로운 회사를 찾고 결정하는 일에도 역시 함께 고민해주었구요, 서로에게 있어 항상 좋은 선택들을 하게 도와주고 지지해준 멤버들에게 고마운 마음입니다, 쉽지 않은 얘기를 이제 꺼내어야겠네요. 우리가 잠시 동안 걸스데이라는 수식어를 잠시 내려놓게 되어 기다려주신 많은 팬분들께 죄송하다는 말 꼭 하고 싶었어요, 하지만, 걸스데이는 마침표 찍지 않았다 생각합니다, 그저 잠시 쉼표를 두었을 뿐이니 꽤 오랜 시간이 걸리더라도 다시 함께할 날을 기다려 주길 부탁해요. 저를 포함한 멤버들 모두 각자의 위치에서 최선을 다하며 지내다 좋은 기회로 다시 반가운 소식 전해드릴 수 있을 날이 오길 기도하고 바라요. 여러분이 있어 여기까지 올 수 있었고 , 도전할 수 있는 기회와 용기 또한 얻었으니 더 예쁘게 성실하게 지내서 좋은 모습으로 보답하겠습니다. 이제는 오롯이 ‘박소진’ 으로 저의 또다른 이야기를 풀어내보려 합니다. 사랑하고 고맙고 미안해요. 지금까지, 소진이었습니다, 끝까지, 예뻐해 주세요❤️ 감사합니다.

She has also went on Instagram to announce her new chapter in life. She talks about writing this post so that the fans won’t be surprised or worried. She also addresses the love that the members have for her, especially when it comes to encouraging her to make this good decision. She also apologized for the let down but that doesn’t mean that Girl’s Day is over. They will take a break from it and will return back together again in the future.
