BTS encourage us all to ‘Stay Gold’

BTS have released the beautiful and hopeful music video for the latest Japanese single ‘Stay Gold‘.

The single is from their forthcoming Japanese album ‘Map of the Soul:7 – The Journey‘ which is scheduled for release on July 15. This album will be the group’s fourth Japanese album and will include Japanese versions of previous releases as well as original Japanese tracks ‘Stay Gold‘, ‘Your Eyes Tell‘ and ‘Lights‘.

The song itself is a soothing, gentle ballad about staying gold in a world that can seem cold. It’s an especially uplifting track that seems to aim right at the heart given what the world is going through currently.

In the clip, the members find themselves trapped and separated in a number of crumbling, desolate settings as they collectively daydream about sharing a sunshine-filled hang complete with gold confetti filling the air.

As the track builds to its climax, they manage to escape their various hiding places and come together in a beautiful field strewn with purple flowers, trees.
