SF9 are everywhere with ‘RPM’
SF9 have released the full MV for their fifth Japanese release ‘RPM’.
The song retains the power and impact that it had with its Korean release, the vocals are as impressive and pleasing as they were the first time around and it loses nothing in the translation to Japanese.
The MV has a slightly different feel to the Korean version, but it again retains the power of the Korean version. The choreography is as imposing as the first time around. It doesn’t matter what this group does, they make it look easy. The MV is the perfect match of action, power and slick moves.

Then, just to make sure we didn’t lose focus, the performance version of SF9‘s ‘RPM‘ was released.
The performance version gives you the chance to focus on the song and the choreography without the distraction of the storyline.
SF9 ‘RPM’ Performance version
It was revealed just a few days ago that Inseong would not be participating in activities with the group for the time being due to an injury. This included their Korean concert on August 10 and the upcoming KCON LA on August 17.
FNC Entertainment released an official statement about his injury, which reads:
“Hello, this is FNC Entertainment.
We are writing with news about SF9’s Inseong.
While carrying out his schedule recently, Inseong unexpectedly received an injury in which his sternum was fractured. He felt pain and immediately went to the hospital where he underwent a thorough examination. The doctor told him that he needs to rest for the next three to four weeks.
Although he very much wanted to participate in the concert, the doctor has said that he has to minimize the movement of his sternum in order to recover quickly, and it’s therefore been decided that he will unfortunately not be able to take part in SF9’s solo concert on August 10.
In addition, it’s planned that Inseong will focus on treatment and will be unable to take part in the Idol Star Athletics Championships filming on August 12 or the KCON LA performance on August 17. We will inform you about his future schedule following any changes after monitoring his recovery.
It is with a heavy heart that we convey this news to the fans who have been waiting for the concert. The company will do our utmost so that Inseong can quickly recover and meet all of you again. Thank you.”
SF9 Inseong injured
In a surprise that no-one saw coming, Inseong, despite his injury, appeared on-stage at SF9‘s Korean concert yesterday to wish Rowoon and Jaeyoon Happy Birthday. He remained on stage while the group performed ‘Beautiful Light‘ around him.
We wish Inseong a speedy recovery.
SF9‘s single Japanese album ‘RPM’ is scheduled for release on September 11.
